USING CFD TO ANALYZE WIND VELOCITY AROUND BUILDINGS TO DETERMINE THE APPROPRIATE WIND VELOCITY

A 2d numerical study has been conducted by using Ansys Fluent 2020R2 program to design 4 different cases(shapes) for buildings at a initial velocity value (2,4,6 m/sec) .in order find way benefit from the areas where winds is small and it not enough operate turbines. Where analysis carried out four cases, each of them separately, intensity turbulence pressure around calculated. The highest obtained case 3, reached m/sec when Vinlet was equal 2m/sec. best determined streamline vector have presented case. area between two divided six parts. in flow high put wind turbine . dimensions, height appropriate ,have determined. final velocities used Also, annual energy calculations found increase speed Weibull distribution. finally production selected region first case(region without buildings) 68 kWatt hours, but this 294 hours new (the putting buildings). That means, power increased 76%.
